Today’s guest post comes from Steph at Plain Chicken! Her Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Puffs look amazing! Don’t you think? Be sure to check out her yummy recipes and gorgeous photos on her blog!
We had these for lunch over the weekend, and they tasted as good as they looked. They are DELICIOUS!! We ate them all!
These little puffs are very simple to make. We used turkey pepperoni and sausage, but feel free to change up the fillings. Try mushrooms, peppers, ham, chicken; the possibilities are endless! Just use your favorite pizza toppings.
These puffs would make a fantastic snack for the upcoming Super Bowl!

Yumm! I love everything pizza!
gonna make these as soon as I get some Italian sausage! If I inject them with the sauce, they will be portable, too.
These are perfect for a quick weeknight meal too. Loved this idea so I included it in the 25 quick meal ideas blog post I wrote today. Come checkout the other quick meals.
hey, those look delicious! I should make them sometime.
I’ve seen these on other blogs, but something about your photo makes them look better than the rest! Yum!

Thanks for sharing! These look amazing. I could make these to serve to guests during my son’s birthday party this weekend. The kids will love these!
These look so good. I know my kids will love them. Wish I had one right now :).
I love any excuse to dip things in pizza sauce! these would make great movie snacks
I made these but I used ham, pineapple, pepper jack cheese and unflavoured almond milk (that is what I had). I also used regular sized muffin tins. My husband and I both thought they were delicious!
Sounds great! Glad you enjoyed them!
did you have to adjust the cooking time?
Hi Amy,
You will probably have to cook them a little longer in the regular muffin pan. I suggest testing them with a tooth pick to see if they’re done and cook longer as needed.
I made these the other night and they were so good! My husband and I ate the whole pan by ourselves :).
Glad you enjoyed them!
Do these freeze well? Thinking of making these for my girls school lunches.
I don’t see why not. But I think they would be best warmed up.
I loved these. I would like to make the ham and cheese idea but was wondering if I should have a dip for them and what to use. Any ideas?
Hmmm….how about a honey mustard dip? Any other ideas people?
sounds good. Other ideas would still be appreciated.
Just to clarify, is this all purpose flour? Thanks! Planning to make these for A Super Bowl party!
Donna
Yes, it is all purpose flour.
Had these this past weekend and they are perfect for togethers, trying my hand at them for Daytona Race this weekend.
I love these. Made them with ham and cheese, my girls loved them and they will be perfect for lunches this week. Had enough for a second batch to freeze. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.
Glad you like it, Rachael!
