The kids started back to school and I like to do what I can to help make their learning environment the best that it can be.  Our school doesn’t have a high enrollment because we live in a very rural area so they don’t get a lot of funding or have a lot of extra money to buy some of the supplies they need.  So every Friday when I’m at Walmart buying my groceries, I look for products that have the Box Tops for Education logo on them.  It’s a simple way to help our school raise money and use it for what they feel is necessary.

Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs with over 80,000 k-8 schools that participate.  Since 1996 they have contributed over $525 million dollars!  Each Box Top is worth $0.10 and they can be found on an array of products.  From cereal, cinnamon rolls, granola bars, breakfast bars, taco kits, yogurt, salad kits, pizza, and so much more!

Right now when you shop at Walmart you can find Bonus Box Tops on the products.  So instead of the package having one Box Top on it, it has FIVE…yes, I said five!  These are products that I normally buy during my shopping trip so it’s an added bonus that I get to earn money for the kids’ school too.

The next time you do your grocery shopping make sure you stop at Walmart, grab a participating box top product, clip the box top off, and submit them to your local school so your kids can start earning money to help out the school and their learning environment.
