Intensely Chocolate

100 Scrumptious Recipes for True Chocolate Lovers

By Carole Bloom

Who doesn’t love chocolate?  I know it’s one of my weaknesses!  Reviewing a cookbook full of chocolate recipes is no hardship, that’s for sure!  I’m so excited because there are so many recipes in this book that I’d like to make for the holidays!  My family will be happy to try them!

Triple Chocolate - Toasted Coconut Brownie Wedges

I tried this fabulous recipe and trust me, it was chocolatey and scrumptious!  I ate way too much of it for my own good!

This cookbook is divided into the following categories:

Cakes and Cupcakes

Brownies, Scones, and Muffins

Tarts and Tartlets

Cookies

Custards, Mousses, and Puddings

Truffles and Candies

Ice Creams, Sorbets, and Frozen Desserts

Do you give food gifts to your family, friends, or co-workers at Christmas time?  I do.  I’ll be using some of the recipes from the Truffles and Candies section to give to people this year!  The candy will look great in those cute Christmas cellophane bags with a pretty bow!  If you’re a chocolate lover, you won’t be disappointed with the recipes and beautiful photos in this book.

I’m with these other gals who wonder how can I possibly narrow it down to ONE chocolate recipe? I guess I would have to say I love soft brownies with chocolate frosting…oh my. Mouth watering just to think about it. I would certainly enjoy this fabulous cookbook. I’m a chocolate lover from way back!

To pick my favorite Chocolate dessert would almost be impossible, because if its Chocolate, its for me!

I love chocolate brownies, with chocolate chips inside and cream cheese icing.

But I think the most favorite that I rarely get because I can never finish, is Death By Chocolate!

A cake that starts with a cookie base, then a cake, a mouse, a hard chocolate covering drizzled with hut fudge!!!! Yummmmmmm!

My favorite chocolate dessert is the “evil brownies” I make (more chocolate than one person can handle, really) with some espresso-infused whipped cream on top.

Just one favorite Chocolate? Thats tough!! I guess it would be Chocolate Mousse, followed closely by chocolate truffles. Both are sinfully rich!!
This looks like an incredible book!
