I have a great giveaway for you today!  The folks at BigKitchen.com would like to give away this Greenpan San Francisco hard anodized 13″ x 9″ oval fish pan to one of my readers!

 

 

Easy, convenient and great performance:

  1. Anodized aluminium exterior and interior for extra hard surfaces.
  2. The heavy gauge aluminium and the Thermolon™ interior provide perfect heat distribution, allowing even cooking and excellent browning without the risk of any hot spots.
  3. The curved side walls and the wide pouring rims of the products will allow food to easily slide out of the pan.
  4. Extra long handles with silicone sleeve for a stay cool and non-slip grip. The 3 rivets ensure a tight fixture to the pan.
  5. Thanks to this Thermolon™ technology, the coating acts like an insulator that retains heat, moisture and flavors. These are sealed in and give you great results when preparing food. 

*My Review*

I had fun testing out some different dishes using the greenpan!

 
 

First, I tried my favorite salmon recipe.  Even without non stick spray, the fish didn’t stick to the pan!

 

Then I made some grilled cheese sandwiches which browned evenly.

 

I browned some ground beef for a casserole.

 

And I also cooked some green beans.

 

The greenpan performed very well!  I tested it on my electric glass stove top.  The heat tends to be centralized with it’s oval shape, but wasn’t a problem for me.  It’s narrow so it’s not for cooking large meals.  It comes with a plastic cover to protect it when stacking your pans in the cabinet.  I love that idea so the edges don’t get chipped or scratched.

    I am loving BigKitchen.com! I had never visited the page before, but I love the choice of products. Not only can one find the usual house goods, but products with character and spunk! The tea pot selection is great…especially the Curious Pig Clay Tea Pot. So cute!

    Wow, Big Kitchen.com really got some wonderful products. I’m in need to get a new chopping board and found this PROTEAK END GRAIN 20 X 14 INCH RECTANGULAR CHOPPING BLOCK WITH INSERT! So beautiful withe the pattern and love the insert!

    I enjoyed looking at the catalogue. I would order any of the Ginsu knives and I need the replacement filters for my ceramic composter. Now I know where to get them!

    I would love to have one of these nice pans, I love the idea that it is non-stick and that it will not peel or blister. I just disposed of my wok yesterday as it had peeled and blistered. The curved walls are a plus. There are so many good features that it is hard to name them all.

    I would love a oxo good grips stainless steel lemon zester because I’ve really been wanting this type of zester. The other thing I found that is on my wish list is the le creuset cassis mortar and pestle set. I would LOVE this!

    OMGosh…. Until I got to the site, I had no idea that Le Crueset made so many wonderful things besides the French oven I’ve been lusting over for years. I would love their mortar and pestle, or any awesome cookware. Good quality pots and pans are one of the best investments a chef can make

    I love their cake pans, especially the nordic ware cast aluminum citrus slice cake pan. I also love the cupcake courier caddy in yellow, holds 36, which would be really handy!

    I especially like that they put their contact number very clearly on the front - easy to find.
    Also like the seasonal page - saw several items there I will be putting on my ‘wish” list.

    Just checked your website, would one day like to try the square 11 inch grill pan. I could use one of those.
    Would also like to get the stainless steel baking sheets. Stainless steel cleans up so nicely, too, better than aluminum.
