Here’s a fun little pan for all of you pancake makers!

 

 

Wouldn’t this be fun to use on Memorial Day weekend or the 4th of July?

 

 

The Flip It Pan, made by Teflon, is mainly used to make the perfect pancake, but it can also be used for omelets, french toast, grilled cheese, and crepes. The Flip It Pan is not currently available in stores as it was made for a limited time as a novelty.

The use of nonstick cookware is recommended by the American Heart Association and the National Stroke Association as part of a heart-healthy diet because it allows for cooking with little or no fats. And as a bonus, nonstick cookware means easier cleanup and less time doing the dishes!
 

Aren’t these pancakes fun?  I bet my second graders at school would love to make themselves a stack or two!  (With the help of an adult, of course.)

 

To make the pancakes, you need to preheat the pan for 5 minutes (over medium heat or slightly less). Spray the cooking surfaces with nonstick spray and pour 1/2 cup of batter onto the flag side of the griddle.  Close the lid.  When the first side looks cooked, the batter on the top has bubbled up, and the edges are no longer wet, you can flip-it (holding the handles together).  When the second side is cooked, remove the pancake with a spatula.  It’s that easy!

    I make pancakes every week for my granddaughter. Her favorite is a kitty pancake but only if you remember to make a little kitty poop too. She loves pancakes. I think she would love the flag design.

    My husband actually makes either pancakes or waffles just about every weekend. My four year old son loves to help. This would actually be great for him, he’s got one working arm and we’re always looking for stuff to make it easier for him.

    My husband loves pancakes with syrup and peanut butter. I make them about four or five times a month when he’s here. He’s in the military (currently deployed), so how perfect would the flag pancakes be for our family? We’d LOVE IT! I also have a 4 yr old and 18 month old that love to help out in the kitchen. They would adore this!

    Pancakes are weekly at my house or my friend’s house for AWANA!!! My boys would LOVE to make the stripes out of chocolate chips! 🙂

    We have pancakes every Saturday morning. My 3 year old helps to add all the ingredients and my 1 year old has started pulling out the cabinet drawer and standing in it to “help” as well 🙂 Making breakfast is one of my favorite memories growing up and now!

    This is such a cool equipment! I just made pancakes last weekend and probably will make them again this weekend. This Flip-It Pan is totally awesome and I want to get my hand on it and give it a try. 🙂

    We make them every weekend - my 22 month old daughter eats more than my husband and I do. She’d love to have more 🙂 We just moved from Canada so a USA flag would be a nice “welcoming” gift for us :):)

    What a lovely Flip-It Pan. Today in the afternoon my husband just mentioned that we would make pancake this Weekend! He loves pancake with peanut butter and jam. We don’t often make pancakes just sometimes on the weekend but if I could win it, I would make pancakes very often, probably every weekend. I love it .

    Oh, my, pancakes is a bog hit to my family. My grandkids had them every time they spent the night here. Now 2 of them are grown up and still have them sometimes for their dinner. I send some to their house if I have extras. My oldest son just said last night he was eating a pancake for dinner. The oldest grandson has them when he goes deer hunting and now turkey hunting on our land.

    So my little helpers are too big to want to help, but they would get a kick out of this.

    I make pancakes about once a week for supper. In the fall, we go to the orchard and get apples by the bushels and I put them in the freezer. I cook the apples with cinnamon and butter, with just a little sugar. I top the pancakes with the apples. Yummmmm. It is one of my husband and son’s favorite meals.

    I don’t make pancakes very often but I eat them out a lot. My three granddaughters are getting to the age of helping me cook so it would be fun to make these big patriotic pancakes with them.

    We make pancakes at least once a week. We let our girls, 6 and 2, pick the color and flavors. I think they would love this. Put blueberries and sliced strawberries on their proper places on the flags. Maybe some whipped cream for stars! Fun!

    My 2 yr old helps me prepare the batter by putting in some blue berries and a egg for the pancakes that we make atleast once a week. I try to make different flavors like apple cinnamon, strawberry topped, blue berries and sometime the plain pan cakes. Looks like this pan would be of great help!!!

    I make pancakes 1-2 times a month, on Sundays. My son is 16 and sometimes helps me with breakfast but most of the time he is asleep when I am making breakfast and I wake him up to enjoy it.

    I usually end up making pancakes at least on Sunday a month because my son loves them. He doesn’t usually help but this pan might be easier and fun enough for him to use that he’d like to help next time.

    My daughter would absolutely LOVE this! She loves pancakes and we fix them together every morning! Sometimes we fix them for dinner too! This is about the only breakfast thing that she will eat!

    My husband often makes pancakes or waffles on Sunday……………..but ALWAYS when my grandson comes to visit and he has to have chocolate chips in his…..really special for him!

    I make them about once a month, but I make a whole batch at a time, then freeze them so they are quick and easy to make for the kids on school days. I’m making them this morning for Easter breakfast!

    I make pancakes alone most of the time even though I do make them for my family. My little sister would love this now that I’m teaching here how to make little thing like pancakes and grits.

    I make pancakes usually once a week BUT that means taking them out of the freezer pack and popping them into the toaster. Maybe with this great pan I would actually mix up some batter!

    My son & daughter love to get up on weekends & make pancakes with my hubby! It’s not every weekend, but at least once or twice a month. They’d get a kick out of this pan!
