My Last Blog Post

Hi everyone,

Long time, no see!  After a much needed break from blogging, I’ve decided to give up my blog.  For those of you that have been following me for a while, I feel like I owe you an explanation.

It’s really simple. I teach 2nd grade full-time and I just don’t have the desire to spend a major part of my free time on the computer.  I have enjoyed cooking more lately because it doesn’t involve a camera or related blog post.  I’ve been spending more time with my aging parents.  It feels good to be there for them.  For the first time in my life, I have been working out at the gym and it feels pretty good!  All in all, it just feels like the right time to move on.

I will miss all of you and will never forget the wonderful opportunities I had as a blogger.  Please check out my recipe index page in case you need to print out any recipes.  I’m thinking of pulling my blog off line around March 10th or so.  I will also end my Facebook fan page.

If you have any questions, leave me a comment below.

Thank you for following my blog!  Take care!

Dear Jane, I will miss linking up and visiting your site. I wish you all the best and I am happy to hear though that you are well and doing better than ever. Maybe someday when life slows down a bit you will re-join us. Until then, take care. With love and good wishes, Catherine

You have to do what is best for you. I really don’t see how anyone blogs with a job and family.

    GOD BLESS with this decision.

ack, a math problem was thrown in! Must be from dealing with those 2nd graders 😉 … will miss you posts! It’s good though that you are doing all the things that I think should be done: spending time with aging parents, going to the gym AND most importantly: COOKING WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT PICTURES AND BLOGGING 😉 … I have so many things that would be blog worthy but just wasn’t in the right frame of mind to blog and document :) … enjoy that time with your parents and feed them good food!

I have been missing your wonderful blog. You have the right idea. Blogging is good but sometimes you have to let go of the GOOD and keep going where God leads you. Bless you Jane and take care of those parents of yours. I know they are enjoy their time with you as well. You will never get that time back when it is gone.
