THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!

I have a great giveaway for you from Microplane!

One of my readers will win 3 Microplane kitchen tools!

First up, is this Microplane Herb Mill!

I made meatballs the other day and the recipe called for 1/4 cup of chopped parsley. This was the perfect time to test out the Microplane Herb Mill!

It’s very easy to put together.  You just have to be careful when inserting or removing the sharp blades.  It comes with a diagram and instructions.  You simply add the herbs to the Mill and put the green top on.  While gently applying downward force, twist the top in a back-and-forth motion.

I thought it did a great job and it’s fun to use!

The second product in the giveaway is one Microplane Classic Series Premium Zester/Grater!

I always wanted one of these!  I love the heavy-duty plastic guard that comes with it.

It grated my Parmesan cheese very nicely!

The third product is a Microplane Cheese Mill!

Just load the Mill with little chunks of cheese and insert the Top.

While gently applying downward pressure, rotate the Top in the clockwise direction to grate the food.

My opinion:  Each of the Mills are easy to use, assemble, and clean, and are dishwasher safe.  As far as I’m concerned, every cooking enthusiast should have their own Microplane Zester/Grater.  It is definitely a kitchen tool that gets used quite often.

Would you like to win a Microplane Herb Mill, Cheese Mill, and Grater/Zester?

Here’s what you need to do to enter!

    “That Good Pasta Thing” {I just totally made up that recipe name, because that;s what we call it! :)}
    Pasta, olive oil. onion, garlic, basil *this is where I’d love to grind fresh!* tomato, lots of bite-sized veggies, Parmesan *this is where I’d love to use the grater!* a bit of red pepper. Easy enough to add chicken.

I would use the Microplane Zester/Grater to add the fresh Parmesan to my Spaghetti pasta and the Microplane Cheese Mill would be used to grate the Mozzarella cheese on top of the Sauce & Spaghetti at serving time. There are so many recipes & dishes i would use them for. but one recipe I would love it for is making homemade Garlic Bread. The Microplane Herb Mill is great for chopping parsley, Zester is fantastic for zesting garlic & the Cheese Mill is perfect for a little mozzarella cheese right before popping it into the over.. Yummm!

    I could use all three. My grandfather taught me how to make spaghetti sauce from scratch so the herb mill would be fantastic for grinding up the basil and oregano I use, the zester/microplane would be fantastic forgrating garlic which helps release its oils and fragrance and the cheese grater, WELL, what is a spaghetti dinner without some Parmesan cheese on top!
