This was the best weather on Memorial Day in years! We spent the day at my brother-in-law’s house on the lake about 10 minutes away. It was nice catching up with Dave’s side of the family.

This was the first weekend that we enjoyed outdoors. It sure feels great! Only 3 more weeks of school now. Can’t wait for summer!

We had a different celebration - a celebration of my uncle’s life who died in a boating accident on May 12th. Though there was sadness, what a PARTY that was had in his honor!!! And he is now in GLORY where he so wanted to be!!! GREAT family time!

Those pictures are priceless with the smiles on everyone’s face and the children enjoying themelves in the water. What fun you had and I bet the food was awesome also. Thanks for sharing your great pictures. I live in Maryland and we were going to have an outdoor crab feast since blue cards are so plentiful here now. But we canceled our outdoor event because of the hot heat and high humidity in the late 90′s. So we all decided to go to a seafood restaurant where it was cool inside and enjoy the all-you-can-eat crab feast. That was the best decision we made…LOL….

I’m dying to try real Maryland crab cakes! We drove through Maryland on our way to VA Beach many years ago and didn’t have a chance to stop there to eat. I’ll bet you have some great seafood restaurants there!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time! We had beautiful weather here too. We opened our pool the other day and the kids enjoyed it. We also had a picnic and then last night we made a fire in the pit and roasted big marshmallows that I found shopping the other day. It was a great day and I look forward to school being done so we can do it more often :)

Wow, what a fun weekend! We never did anything like that growing up. We spent a good amount of time at the neighborhood pool this weekend. My son LOVED it!
