I hope you’re all enjoying your Labor Day weekend!
Dave and I went to Natick today and bought this sofa! (I took this picture with my cell phone in the showroom.) It will take more than a month to get it. But we picked a good time to buy it because we got 2 free tickets to a Red Sox game for buying a sectional at Jordan’s Furniture on Labor Day weekend! Not bad, huh?! My oldest son Matthew just moved from Long Island (where he went to school) to Boston, so we’re giving him our old sofa set.
Do you have any big plans this weekend? We’re spending time with family on Labor Day. I’m bringing my Chinese Cabbage Salad to the cook out and will try out a few desserts from a new cookbook that I’ll be giving away soon.

Hug´s,

I just added a Venezuelan traditional ham bread, usually eaten in the Winter (October through December).
It’s a staple in any meal during the Christmas season, it’s deliciously salty and sweet and very unique!
I’m very proud of it because it is only found in Venezuela, and learning to recreate it in my kitchen was a big challenge!
Thanks for letting us share, I’m loving those cinnamon pancakes!!
