Meals in Minutes Cookbook Giveaway!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS OVER!

My son Matthew is a big Jamie Oliver fan.  He has one of his other cookbooks and uses Jamie’s Ap on his phone for recipe ideas.  (He even added the Ap to my phone so I could try it!)

I have watched Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution and you can’t help but love him for his warm heart and dedication towards getting schools to serve healthier meals to children.  It really bothers Jamie that people don’t cook more often at home, so he is also on a mission to get people back in the kitchen to cook for their families instead of doing a lot of take-out. In his new cookbook, Meals in Minutes, he walks you through every step of the meal, so you’re not just getting one recipe, you’re getting 3 or 4 so that you’re making a complete meal.  Here’s a behind-the-scene video of Jamie working on this cookbook.  In the UK, it’s called 30 Minute Meals.  In the US, it’s called Meals in Minutes.

Here are a few pages from Jamie’s cookbook.  As I said, each page is grouped into a complete meal.

On this page, you’ll find his recipe for Killer Jerk Chicken, Chargrilled Corn, Refreshing Chopped Salad, and Rice & Beans.

I made the Killer Jerk Chicken.  The chicken was nice and juicy and the sauce was fantastic!

This group of recipes includes Tasty Crusted Cod, My Mashed Peas, Tartar Sauce, and Warm Garden Salad.

On this page, there is Chicken Skewers, Amazing Satay Sauce, Fiery Noodle Salad, and Fruit and Mint Sugar.

Even though there are 4 recipes grouped together to make a complete meal, start to finish, you can still follow the directions to make just one of them as I did with the Killer Jerk Chicken.

If you’re in a cooking rut, I highly recommend this cookbook for inspiration in the kitchen!

I saw Jamie Oliver as a guest on a show and I could see his enthusiasm in cooking and showing you how to make a delicious meal. I’d love to try his recipes to get meals ready in 30 minutes for my family. My daughter loved his English accent and she walked around speaking with an English accent (she nailed the accent quite well).:-)

I have watched and loved Jamie since his “Naked Chef” series on Food Network. He is amazing and gives back so much to the world. Having this book would be such a help at dinner time. It takes the guesswork out of meal planning. Thanks!
