Girls Night in Boston with The Rockettes

In the month of December, I heard that a bunch of Boston Bloggers were giving away a 4 pack of tickets to see The Rockettes in Boston. After seeing the musical Wicked in NYC a month ago, it really made me want to see more shows.  So I entered to win some tickets on all of the blogs. When Patrice from Burban Momma emailed me to say that I won some tickets, I was so thrilled!  The 4 pack of tickets included a Meet and Greet with The Rockettes!  So on Dec. 28th, I drove to Boston with my sister-in-laws, Gail and Kristy, and my niece Jordyn.

This is my sister-in-law Kristy and her daughter Jordyn at the Wang Theatre.

We arrived more than an hour early to meet The Rockettes.  Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and The Rockettes never came down to the holding room that we were in.  Here’s Jordyn patiently waiting for the Rockettes to arrive.  Right before the show started, they informed us that we could come back to this room after the show and they would make sure that some of The Rockettes would stop by.

This is the view from our seats.  I couldn’t take pictures during the show.

It was fun meeting the Rockettes!  I thought they were going to be a lot taller than me!  The Rockettes were amazing!  Their movements are so precise and entertaining!  I found myself wanting the show to last longer!

Here’s a youtube video I found of one of my favorite parts of the show…The Toy Soldiers!  They’re famous for this.  Try to watch it to the end. It has a really cool ending!

Have you ever seen The Rockettes?
