I love going to book signings! It’s so much fun to meet cookbook authors and Food Network Stars! I had the pleasure of meeting Giada De Laurentiis on Friday. She was beautiful, warm, and friendly! I can’t wait to try some of her recipes in her new cookbook Giada At Home!
I took these pictures after I met her. We weren’t allowed to pose with her as she was only scheduled to be there for 2 hours. BJ’s gave out 400 wrist bands and we were about 12th in line!

I love love love Giada! She is by far my favorite food network star! I love that her recipes are very simple yet elegant and delicious! And her show Giada at Home makes me want to live in CA.

My favorite Food Network Star is Emeril Lagasse. He and my husband both grew up in Fall River. no, they didn't know each other. It's fun to watch Emeril cook up the same foods from that area we love to eat.
Giada is a big favorite of my 2.5 year old grandson. He'll stop wht ever he is doing when she comes on the TV. We even have a few of her shows recorded so when he starts having a temper tantrum we start one up and he forgets what he was upset about. He is part Italian so they must share a connection.
