THIS GIVEAWAY IS OVER!

I’m so excited about this giveaway from CHEFS Catalog!  Isn’t she a beauty?!

DeLonghi Stainless Steel Deep Fryer

I have been on a real donut kick lately!  So this deep fryer couldn’t have come at a better time for me to review!  :)

Remember my Doughnut Cookbook review that I did recently?  The doughnuts were delicious, but making them the old fashioned way with a candy thermometer took a long time.  It’s very hard to regulate the temperature on the stove.  But with this electric deep fryer, it’s a piece of cake!  Once you set the temperature, it stays put!  I love it!

The basket is strong and well made.

You can empty your used oil with this spigot.

My son Matthew was home for Thanksgiving so we made some old fashioned chocolate donuts together on Friday morning!

We dipped them in a vanilla glaze!  They were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside!  Yum!

We also made some old fashioned plain donuts and covered them with a chocolate glaze and jimmies!

I never made deep fried french fries before, so this was fun to make!

The recipe that I have suggested that you fry them twice.

I sprinkled them with sea salt and they tasted just like Pub fries!

This is my first deep fryer, so I don’t have anything to compare it to.  I found that this deep fryer is easy to assemble, use, and clean.  I’m really looking forward to trying out some new donuts on Christmas morning!  If you make the “cake” type of donuts, you can make the dough the night before!  That works for me!  :)
