It’s that time of year again, and we all know how busy we get, so I like to have our meals planned out for the holidays. Planning out multiple meals means multiple times to bring joy to my family. Creamy Sausage Gravy over Biscuits is a family favorite, and it’s perfect on Thanksgiving morning. I wake up bright and early, get the turkey cooking, and then I start on breakfast. I love Creamy Sausage Gravy over Biscuits because it’s quick and easy so I’m done just in time to watch the parade with my family. We grab our plates, go into the living room, watch the parade, and enjoy our delicious breakfast. I have watched the parade since I was younger, and now I love that I get to watch it with my kids.
Starting out with a good quality sausage like Jimmy Dean® Refrigerated Sausage (found at Kroger Supermarkets and its subsidiaries) is key because the end result will be a scrumptious Creamy Sausage Gravy. Once you have your sausage, pick up some refrigerated biscuits too, this way you’ll be spending less time in the kitchen, and more time enjoying the holidays.
To make sure everything gets done at the same time, I’ll bake the biscuits while I’m making my sausage gravy. Being that the sausage gravy is made in one pan, you can go from the stove top straight to the table, and serve. Creamy Sausage Gravy over Biscuits is a great way to sit down for breakfast and enjoy spending time together. We all know during this busy season there are numerous mouths to feed, so take advantage of the many moments and many meals to share beyond the big dinner. I hope you enjoy this delicious recipe and don’t forget to pass along a Tyson® recipe and give the gift of love to someone you cherish.
