If you like Italian food, and dinner in 30 minutes, then this recipe is for you! I absolutely love this dish! The sauce is fantastic and the recipe couldn’t be easier! I highly recommend this with garlic toast. It’s a perfect match!
First, you break up the sausages and brown them over medium heat. Stir in the garlic during the last minute. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.
Add the tomatoes.
Add the half & half, red pepper flakes, and salt & pepper.
Stir in the (drained) cooked pasta and top with fresh, grated Parmesan cheese.
I don’t think you’ll have any leftovers! But if you do, it tastes great reheated in the microwave!

Hi Jane,
You know who would love this? Grant! He loves pasta! I would too, but I am watching the carbs!
What type of Sausage did you use? I am definitely going to make this!!

This looks delicious, Jane…definitely my kinda pasta meal…Italian Sausage and pasta are just meant to be together ;) Thank you for sharing this with the hearth and soul hop!
Hi Jane! Thanks so much for sharing this super simple and super yummy recipe on the hearth and soul hop this week. I am totally going to make this very soon as it looks so stinkin good. My kids love pasta with sausage, but dont particularly like tomato sauce, so they chunks are big enough for them to pick out if they want to, such wayward misguided youths! :) Alex@amoderatelife
With dishes this easy to throw together, isn’t it a wonder that people still buy Hamburger Helper and the like? Thanks for sharing with the Hearth and Soul hop.
Ooo, this looks cheap, easy, and yummy! I’d love to try it, but can you tell me what kind of sausage you used? Thanks!
Hi Kristi,
I used Italian sweet sausage but you could use any kind.
This looks so yummy-I can’t wait to try. I look forward to using sausage - nice change!
