Pumpkin recipes are all the rage right now, so for my November Cans Get You Cooking post, I thought I’d share my two favorite pumpkin recipes using canned pumpkin.
About a year ago, I posted this Pumpkin Cake Roll from Lady Behind the Curtain. It is so good! I got a lot of compliments when I made it for Thanksgiving. You can actually freeze the whole roll. Who doesn’t love that? Click HERE for the recipe!
Whenever I make a pumpkin pie, I always go back to this recipe. It’s easy, fail proof, and yummy! This recipe actually uses two canned goods…canned pumpkin and Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk.
If you’re looking for a great Pumpkin Whoopie Pie recipe, check out Annie’s recipe HERE. It’s quite popular!
According to a University of California, Davis Study, many canned fruits and vegetables have the same nutrients as their fresh or frozen counterparts.

I love my Perfect Pumpkin Pie (http://timeforseason.blogspot.com/2013/11/perfect-pumpkin-pie.html) which I think is similar to the Eagle Brand recipe. This year my daughter made a new Pumpkin Dip (http://timeforseason.blogspot.com/2013/10/pumpkin-dip-and-turkey-poo.html) that was a HUGE hit!
That pumpkin roll look so moist and delicious - worth cheating on the diet for! (Who am I kidding, I’m always cheating on my diet!) 😉
