A new adventure…

I have some exciting news to announce! After many years of doing this blog, my family and I have opened up a bake shop.

Buttons Bake Shop was officially opened this past week and we couldn’t be more excited!

My pap and I have always been close, and his nickname is Button so it is an honor to name the bake shop after him. He and my gram are two of the most important people in my life; they are my role models. They have been married for 69 years and have six kids. They inspire me to raise my kids the way they raised their children. Even though they are all adults, they remain so close. It’s not only with their children, but also their grandkids and great grandkids. We all know that we can count on them for anything and I hope they truly know just how much they are loved and how much we appreciate everything they do for us…
