Ice Cream - I love the cold treat on the 4th.
Dessert pizza. Essentially, rice krispie treat crust with a cream cheese layer on it (I don't like cc personally but this has enough other ingredients that it doesn't bother me.) Then layer on the fruit/slices and cover with a lemon glaze. YUM!

I love a July 4th treat my aunt used to make when we were little. Its strawberry jello with chunks of strawberries in it, graham cracker crust, pudding and cool whip top with blueberries sprinkled. It is awesome!

My favorite 4th of July dessert is angel food cake baked in a shallow square dish topped with cool whip, and decorate with blueberries & strawberries to look like the American flag! It is delicious & fun to make!

We don't have a traditional July 4 dessert, but I would have to agree with a lot of the others commenting that ice cream would go great on a hot day after grilling. Dressing up ice cream with blue berries and strawberries would definitely put me in a patriotic mood as well. Thanks for the giveaway.
