As a Food Buzz Tastemaker, I had the opportunity to try out Tyson Grilled & Ready Frozen Chicken. There were a few things that got my attention right away…convenience (it’s already fully cooked)…they’re grilled (a healthier option)…and I can warm them on the grill for a quick sandwich instead of the same ol’ hotdogs and hamburgers!
I thawed one piece of chicken in the microwave at 60% power for 2 1/2 minutes. I wanted my chicken to have more of a charred BBQ flavor so I heated them on my grill an additional 5 minutes on each side. I topped it with bacon and provolone cheese and toasted the bun. Holy cow! This was a great tasting sandwich! I thought the chicken was very well seasoned and flavorful!
There are 6 chicken breasts in the bag shown above. But there are many varieties of Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken to choose from.

I’m thrilled to have a new quick and healthy option for lunch or dinner when I’m short on time! I will definitely buy these again and look forward to trying the Tyson frozen chicken strips for fajitas and quesadillas!

They sound great. Is there anything weird in the ingredients list? Specifically concerned about caramel coloring or MSG.

I got the grilled chicken strips for salads a few weeks back. I found them to have a bit of a spongy feel and grisly. I also did not care for the flavor of them. I will not be buying them again and just keep cooking fresh chix for my salads.
I live in NYC and got the same Tyson promotional coupon…can’t find the product anywhere in stores though!

I found some at a Super Walmart.
I bought Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken, for the first time, as I started to pour the contents out of the bag I found a very long, straight, brunette strand of hair entwined in the meat; this immediately turned me off product.
Due to the obvious negligent manner of sanitation I will not ever purchase this product in future.
