Review: Quaker Oatmeal Squares

For my second BzzAgent review, it was a pleasure to try the new

Honey Nut Quaker Oatmeal Squares.

I was already a fan of the Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, and Golden Maple Oatmeal Squares, so I was happy to try their newest flavor.

The Honey Nut flavor is delicious and crunchy just like the others.

I have enjoyed it with my 1% milk, but to be honest…

this is how I usually eat it…dry…for a healthy mid-day snack.

I measure 1/2 cup servings (105 calories) in little snack bags and keep them in my desk at school.  Then when I’m hungry at the end of the school day, I go for this healthy snack instead of raiding the teacher’s break room (which often has candy or sweet pastry).

I like that it has 5g of Fiber for 1 cup of cereal.  That’s something I look for in a cereal.  I figure if I eat it occasionally as a snack, it beats a lot of other foods that claim to be healthy.

So when it comes right down to it…I’m an Oatmeal Squares fan!  Are you?
