I went there this weekend and was checking out the baking aisle with all the cool Wilton products and thought you might enjoy having a chance to win some of them! So for my very first giveaway, I’m giving away a great Wilton book called Cupcake Fun! It’s loaded with recipes, decorating tips & techniques, and over 150 cupcake and treat designs for every occasion.
Here are just a few of the creative cupcakes in this book!
And… to help you make some of these delicious cupcakes, I’m including a 12-Piece Cupcake Decorating Set! It has 4 tips, 8 bags, and a handy instruction booklet.

We usually go somewhere on Easter so what I do is use a sugar cookie dough recipe and make Easter shaped cookies. Either we just put sprinkles on them or we use icing.

We alsways make easter bread with the pretty eggs cooked in it. It is my favorite!
We make a lamb on the spit, roasted potatoes and carrots, a greek casserole called pasticio, another greek dish (dessert) called galopita, and various other greek cookies. we never drift from the norm… :)

Our Easter baking tradition is to make the Easter cookies with the kids that teach them about the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus ~ when they go to eat them on Easter morning the eggs are hollow (empty) just like Jesus tomb. They are SO neat & help the kids understand the true meaning of Easter.

Easter has never been a huge sit-down occasion in our family. We do an easter egg hunt with the kids, and there is always a program at Church, but that's usually the extent of it. We don't make anything special. (but my son's bday is the very end of March and we'll be doing lots of cooking for that, and cupcakes are great for 2 yr olds.) So does my entry still count if Easter isn't big at my house?

We like to make (or purchase) an angel food cake. We then "Easter-it-up" buy tinting coconut with green food coloring, making little "nests" on top of the cake, and putting tiny jelly beans in the nest.

Every year for Easter my mom or I will make Pagacha, which is an Easter bread. It is the one time of year that it is made. I believe it is a Croatian recipe handed down to my mom by her mom, which was handed down for her mom. I'm not sure how far back it goes. It's just delicious!

For Easter we always make an egg shaped white cake topped with green shredded coconut and jelly beans…just like when I was a kid :) My own kids love it!

We usually have ham so I like to make a couple of salads or vegetable dishes to go with it. I always try to do a family favorite and then a new dish with fresh ingredients. We'll probably do some roasted sweet potatoes and I'll do a green salad. Dessert I am still thinking about.

We have the standard Easter ham with green bean casserole, au gratin potatoes, rolls. But last year, I tried out a wonderful old pistachio bundt cake recipe using pudding and it was FABULOUS! So that's now become an Easter tradition too, I think!

The thing that I always make on Easter is my great-grandmother's Easter Cardammom bread. We've had this every Easter snce I can remember, and my mom has the same memories of growing up with it. Looking forward to tasting it again in a few weeks!

We go out for Mexican food on Easter. Non-traditional, yes. We do boil and color eggs though. Sometimes we will make Easter cookies or cupcakes, but usually it's a no cooking holiday for me.
