Have you ever gone to Hampton Beach in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire? I have gone there all my life so it really feels like summer when I spend some time there. I drove to Hampton Beach yesterday with my friend Silvia. It was really hot, but fun! I heard that the town was renovating the public bathrooms and bandstand and was looking forward to seeing some improvements. I was so impressed when I saw the renovations!

This is going to be the new Sea Shell Complex where they have live bands and the back of it will be the new Life Guard Station! It’s huge!

Silvia and I thought it would be nice to come back with our husbands one night and try out this seafood restaurant. The Sea Ketch was recently renovated as well. It’s right on the boardwalk over looking the ocean. I love the outdoor seating on three floors!
The beach was crowded and the water was a chilly 63°F!
After we had enough sun at the beach, we drove up to the Kittery Outlets in Maine, which was only 14 miles from the beach. Have you ever been there? I had fun shopping at Le Gourmet Chef! I also had some luck buying some summer clothes at the Bass Outlet and Dress Barn!
Before our day was through, we drove to Stonewall Kitchen in York, Maine for a bite to eat and a little shopping. I have been wanting to visit this store for some time! I enjoyed a delicious chicken salad wrap with apples and cranberries with a yummy pasta salad.

Next time I go to Maine, I would love to visit Stonewall Kitchen during the day when you can actually view their operating production line through the viewing gallery windows. It’s the perfect place to visit if you’re a foodie!
It was a nice “girls day” out! Now that our boys are older, I look forward to more days like this!

Great pictures of Hampton. You were close to Long Sands Beach in York where we go every summer. We are looking forward to that. Did you ever take a class at Stonewall Kitchen? My friend Kathy and I thought about doing that!
