I apologize for not making an appearance at your blogs last week. I didn’t spend as much time at the computer as I wanted to.
I have a very special weekend coming up! My son, Matthew, is graduating from college next Sunday! We’ll travel about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to his University on Long Island, NY. I can’t wait to see him accept his diploma! We couldn’t be more proud of him. Last year, Matthew traveled around the world with Semester at Sea (a travel abroad program on a ship). He saw the beauty and poverty of the world. He told me that not one day goes by without him thinking about what he saw. I’m so glad he went and I can’t wait to see what he does with the rest of his life.
In case you didn’t see this last year, this is a poster that Matthew made for us.

This is where the pictures were taken:
THANK – Brazil
YOU – Japan
MOM – Mauritius
AND – China
DAD – Hawaii
FOR – Viet Nam
GIVING – India
ME – South Africa
THE – Ghana
WORLD – Florida (USA) We met Matthew in Florida when he got off the ship and the 4 of us spent some time at Universal Studios together.
Dave and I will always treasure this!

Congratulations Matthew!
