Our family loves a good juicy burger, however with Summer winding down we don’t always get the chance to grill as much as we’d like. So instead of missing out on a good juicy burger, we prepare them ahead of time, freeze, and enjoy them indoors throughout the cooler months. Of course our favorite is to grill the burgers, but we also make them in a skillet or on an indoor grill. No matter how we cook them they turn out juicy and delicious every time!
Make-Ahead (and freeze) Juicy Beef Burgers

Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 C fresh bread crumbs (stale bread ground up)
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 half onion, minced
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
Instructions
- Place the ground beef, egg yolks, bread crumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, salt and pepper into a bowl.
- Using your hands, mix everything together until combined.
- Form the mixture into patties and place (raw) onto a baking sheet.
- Place baking sheet in the freezer, and freeze patties until completely frozen.
- Remove patties from baking sheet and place into a bag or container.
- They can remain frozen up to six months.
Notes
- When you're ready to enjoy a juicy burger, remove pattie(s) from the freezer, preheat the grill, oil the grill and grill 7 minutes per side.
