Look how thick this cookbook is!
Each recipe has the date in which it was published, prep and bake time, the name and location of the person that submitted the recipe, and clear and concise numbered directions. You won’t find pictures with every recipe, but there are about 20 different sections of colored photos. I love the red ribbon book mark!
Don’t worry about finding recipes in this book. The Recipe Index is very organized, so you can find recipes by ingredient, recipe name, or recipe category.
Here are a few recipes I tried from the book.
My son Matthew was home for one night, so I made this Cherry Coffee Cake (p. 151) in a foil pan so he could take it home with him.
His exact words after trying it…”This is awesome!”
I thought it was moist and delicious! :)
I haven’t used any cream of mushroom soup in a long time, so I made this Pork Chop Casserole (found on p.613). I loved the crispy french-fried onions on top! Umm!
