Dining Out at Home Cookbook 2

More Recipes for the Most Delicious Dishes from America’s Most Popular Restaurants

From Stephanie Manley (Copycat.com)

Check out the book trailer!

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ve probably tried to recreate a dish or two from your favorite restaurants.  After a delicious restaurant meal, I often go on line and google the recipe and see if someone has tried to clone it and then I take it from there.  I give the recipe a try and tweak it as best as I can.  Well, with the Dining Out at Home Cookbook, I don’t have to look any further for some of my favorite restaurant recipes!

Here are some of the recipes from the book that I am looking forward to making:

Olive Garden

Baked Pasta Romama
Chicken Gnocchi Soup
Grilled Chicken and Alfredo Sauce
Grilled Sausage Pepper Rustica
Pasta Fagoli Soup
Olive Garden Salad Dressing
Zuppa Toscana

Outback Steakhouse

Alice Springs Quesadillas

Texas Roadhouse

Rolls & Cinnamon Honey Butter

Panera

Broccoli Cheese Soup

The Cheesecake Factory

Oreo Cheesecake

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Broccoli Cheddar Chicken
Chocolate Pecan Pie

Dairy Queen

Peanut Butter Parfait Bar

William-Sonoma

Peppermint Bark

So…what have I tried from this cookbook so far?

This is Wendy’s Chili on page 209!  I haven’t actually had this at Wendy’s, but my husband Dave has had it many times.  He said it tastes just like Wendy’s!  I thought it was great!  In late August, I’ll make a batch of this and freeze it in single portions.  That way, Dave and I can enjoy it when I go back to school and it will defrost and heat easily in the microwave for a quick meal!

I also tried the KFC Cole Slaw on page 114.  I used a lot less grated onion than it called for and used less dressing.  It was delish!

Surprisingly, the recipes were generally on the short side.  There are no photos in this cookbook, but the directions are super easy.  If you’re into restaurant recipes, I highly recommend this book!
