This is the Farberware jumbo cooker, mentioned above.

I’m giving one of these away (at the bottom of this post!)

This is a great family-size pan!  The sides are definitely higher than a lot of my pans.  It’s light, but when you have food in it, the extra handle really helps when you need to lift it.  It cleans up easy with the dishwasher safe nonstick surface.  The black handles are plenty big enough and are easy to grip.  A good pan for the price!

The Farberware Jumbo Cooker is available at Amazon.com.

I want to share a tasty vegetable dish that I made in the Farberware Jumbo  Cooker.  It would be the perfect side dish for your holiday dinner!  It’s similar to the Guest Post Pancetta Sprouts and Squash recipe from Whole Lifestyle Nutrition.

It’s a combination of brussel sprouts and….

 cubed butternut squash.

 It’s delish!

Check out the recipe!

Brussel Sprouts and Butternut Squash

Ingredients
  1. 1 lb. brussel sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
  2. 3/4 - 1 lb. butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  3. 3 tablespoons butter
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  5. salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in the pan over medium-low heat. Place the brussel sprouts in the pan (flat side down.) Add the squash. Sprinkle the veggies with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Flip the veggies over with a spatula. Cover and turn the heat down to low. Flip the veggies occasionally so they don't brown too much on one side.
  2. Cook for 20-30 minutes, depending on how soft you like them. Serve hot.
Notes
  1. I have also made this dish with cubed sweet potatoes instead of the butternut squash. Either way is yummy!

How fantastic! My “jumbo” pan is not very “jumbo”, and I’ve been looking for something new and bigger to make my friend egg noodles. This would be perfect. Farberware is such a great brand, and I have several of their pans that last forever. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

With a family of five, regular skillets just aren’t large enough for those infamous one-pot meals. This one is sure to do the trick!

We have a similar pan that is stainless, but it is a nightmare to clean. I always hesitate to cook in it because I worry the food will stick and we will have to clean it. I love that this one has the non-stick finish.

I’d love to own the Farberware Dishwasher Safe Jumbo Cooker and your recipe for brussel sprouts looks delicious! I’m a little bit confused by the closing date of the contest-because the 26th is tomorrow, not Monday-so I’m not going to spend a lot of time doing extra entries.
