Our family loves oatmeal, and the kids especially like the fruit flavored ones. Sometimes I buy the packaged oatmeal, however they are full of sugar so I normally make it homemade. Making homemade flavored oatmeal is actually quite easy and doesn’t take that long either. This is cooked on top of the stove and you can choose whatever berry you like. Strawberry is the kids’ favorite, but I also make blueberry, raspberry and even blackberry. By the time the kids are done getting ready for school, you’ll have this warm and delicious breakfast done and ready for them to eat. It’s a great way for them to start the day!
