Count Down to Christmas Vacation

Did I ever tell you that I work at a Catholic Elementary School?  I have 22 second graders.  It’s really tough teaching this time of year.  I’m totally wiped out when I get home from work.  I brought my camera to school the other day and took a few pictures to show you.

See these beautiful young ladies?  I taught them several years ago.  I can always count on them if I ever need any help in the classroom!  My niece Kailey is in the middle.  This is what the girls wear in grades 4 - 8.

I already posted this picture of my niece Jordyn before.  I just wanted to show you the uniform that the girls wear from Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Do your kids wear school uniforms?

Here’s Jordyn again in her gym outfit.  All of the students at my school wear this on their gym day.  They love being out of uniform for the whole day!

This is my classroom.  My students love to hang up their pictures especially around the holidays!

I only have 2 1/2 days of school next week!  I don’t know who is more excited about Christmas vacation…the students or the teachers!  All I know is…I’m counting down the days!

Yahoooo for you Jane! Thanks for sharing those neat pictures. We are going to our granddaughter Claira’s catholic school program this week and I can hardly wait! She’s in kindergarten…and wears a uniform. Enjoy that break - get some rest and have fun.
