I found this recipe at Life as a Lofthouse and couldn’t wait to try it. I finally got a chance to make it and it’s all it’s cracked up to be!
I loved every bite…warm and delicious…just like a cinnamon roll!

This has to be the best recipe for Cinnamon Roll Cake ever. Delicious!
That could be dangerous in this house! The boys would have that devoured before I could say, “Would you like a piece of cinnamon roll cake?”
OH MY! Just the smell of it baking would be awesome….I am pinning it for now and will make it one day soon. Thanks to both of you for sharing.
sounds delicious!
I’ve just baked it , added a cup of chopped pecans. Unfortunately couldn’t finish a piece :(
It is delicious but it’s too sweet , though I drizzled with only one cup of sugar!!
Next time I will reduce the amount of topping and cancel the glaze.
Thank you Jane for sharing :))
OMG this looks amazing and I have everything at home already to make this baby! : )
I finally got the opportunity to make this last night and I absolutely loved it and so did everyone else in the house. It tasted kinda like the most amazing french toast ever. It was sweet but it was a nice treat, especially right from the oven while it was still warm.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, Angie!
I don’t even remember how I found this post but I’m so glad I did! I made this for our treat tonight and it was such a big hit I had to keep my husband from going back for a 4th helping!!! I actually messed up a few things (not paying attention) like melting the butter for the topping instead of softening it, and I cut the sugar in every step, but it was definitely sweet enough and I decided it would be near impossible to mess this up! I think this is going to become a regular favorite in my home. Thanks so much for sharing!
What a wonderful recipe!! This is one of those that a mom knows would make the whole family happy!
I also wanted to make sure you knew that your post has been re-posted on “Cake Recipes With Pictures dot com”. The site also has a “pin it” button where they are pinning your photo but the traffic goes to his site. Looking at interest, there are numerous pins of your pictures, but no traffic to you. I recently had this person steal some of my content as well and it took weeks to get them to remove it. I contacted the Google ad that’s in the upper right corner as well as Pinterest to have them remove the violated pins.
I wanted to make sure you were aware that you post was up there just in case you didn’t know.
I made it, added cinnamon to the cake mix. OMG it was fantastic!
Im saving this recipe, I love Cinnamon Rolls, this looks wonderful! =)
