During the summer I try to keep meals as simple as possible!  I like to make them in the slow-cooker or on top of the stove so it’s quick and easy.  Plus with four kids being home from school I don’t like to spend that much time in the kitchen, I’d rather be having fun with them.  One of our favorite meals to make is pizzas, but not in the oven, on top of the stove!

Making them on top of the stove allows you to make quite a few in a matter of minutes.  All you have to do is cook a TortillaLand® Flour Tortilla in a skillet until golden brown.  These tortillas are a favorite since they are made from 5 simple ingredients, they’re naturally delicious and they have no preservatives.

Then you top it with some lettuce and Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing which is robust, full-flavored and packed full of herbs and seasonings.  Plus there is no high fructose corn syrup in it either.  Now it’s time for everyone to put on their favorite toppings!  I always make sure they have a protein and veggies so it’s a balanced meal.  The protein of choice is Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken.  I like to buy the diced chicken so they’re already cut up for us so all I have to heat and serve.  You can find the tortillas, salad dressing and chicken at Walmart, but please note, the tortillas are found in the refrigerated section.

Look how beautiful that is…yum!  See how simple it is to make these?  They take very little time, everyone can make them however they want, and it’s a complete meal in one dish.  It’s perfectly balanced, packed full of protein and bursting with flavor.  Now all you have to do is slice it up and enjoy.

If you’d like to see how others are getting inspired please take a look.
