Chicken Alfredo

Have you ever had “Walking Pneumonia?”  I never did until now.  I’ve been dealing with it for 2 weeks.  Which explains why I haven’t been posting any recipes lately.  I haven’t had much of an appetite lately, let alone cook any big meals.  I got to say…this is one tough sickness to shake.  My lungs are so sore, it hurts to do anything.

I have a teenage son that doesn’t seem to like anything I make lately.  (Is it a hormone thing?)  So in an effort to make something I know he would like, I made this Chicken Alfredo.  I guess it was a hit because he finished the whole mound on his plate!  Dave and I liked it too and it was done in 45 minutes so it wasn’t a lot of work!  If you get a craving for Italian food, give this a try!

I feel for you Jane, I’ve had pnumonia twice. It wears you down and keeps you down. Takes a few weeks before you are back to your old self. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Oh Jane! I had no idea - sorry you are so sick. I have never had it, but Grant’s sister did and she was down and out for a while. I hope you are feeling better soon! I am looking forward to Thursday!!

My friend Jane! I’m SO sorry to know you’re not feeling well…and have wondered if you were OK. Bummer! Trust you’ve got meds to kick that nasty stuff away and get back to cooking. This dish looks soo delicious - blessings to you today.

      Thanks Marsha!
I just took my last RX pill today. I’m hoping my family doesn’t catch it. It’s not a fun thing to have.

Sadly I had to think twice about the sum of 2+4 to prove that I’m human! :) I love love love chicken alfredo. Such a great comfort food… I bet it hit the spot with your pneumonia. I hope you’re feeling better soon; I’ve never had it myself, but I feel for you.

If you have the time, I’d love it if you stopped by and entered the CSN Giveaway that I’m hosting this week.

Don’t even ask me about the teenage boy thing, ARRGH! Mine is lucky he made it to 18 I tell ya!! But, he grew into a fine young man, thank goodness.

Your Alfredo looks beautiful Jane! I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. That must be terrible. If I’ve ever had it, I didn’t know, but I had some crud last time I got sick that just didn’t want to let go. Finally worked through that, but it took forever. Get well soon!!

Hope you get better ! This is a very simple and easy to make recipe. My children adore pasta and chicken breast (and Parmigian cheese), so, I guess they’ll enjoy this recipe!
