For my August Cans Get You Cooking post, I’m sharing an old standby, Campbell’s Classic Green Bean Casserole. Only thing is…I threw in a couple cans of Hormel chicken breast. The chicken made it a little more heartier!

This recipe is so easy!
First, you drain the cans of beans and spread them out in a casserole dish.
I topped mine with two cans of chicken breast.
Combine the milk, soy sauce, and a little black pepper, and stir it into the bean mixture.
Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, then sprinkle the onions on top. Bake for 5 minutes longer until the onions are golden brown.
This is a great side dish for pot luck dinners, barbecues, or any day of the week!
