Busy! Busy! Busy!

What a week! My husband left early this morning for a business trip to California and I’ve been helping my college son Matthew get ready for his big trip around the world with Semester at Sea. Matthew will fly out to California this Friday and meet up with my husband. It is very comforting to have my husband see him off and make sure he is all set. As worried as I am for Matthew, I couldn’t be happier for him to go on such an incredible journey!

I will follow Matthew’s travels from one country to another on a huge world map in my 2nd grade classroom. I’m looking forward to some great discussions with my students about this great big world we live in. Maybe that will inspire some of my young students to have their own great adventure some day.

I will keep you posted on his amazing trip and will post more recipes soon. :)

Wow! My husband did a Semester at Sea but I don't think he went that many places. He loved it and said it was one of the best times of his life! I'm sure your son will too.

Thanks you guys! I'll probably be a basket case on Friday when he leaves! I'll have to keep the tissue box handy.

    Dear jane,

I took a look at the ship and her itinerary. Matthew is certain to have a fantastic voyage on such a luxurious cruise ship. I promise to keep him in my prayers and tell him to text you. kids are really into doing this. Take care.

Wow! I hadn't heard of that before. What a great experience for him to be able to visit all of those places. The course list is actually pretty impressive considering it's on a ship.
