My family loves brussels sprouts and I get excited when I find new recipes for them. This one features Bacon Jam, and let’s be honest…adding bacon to anything seems to make it better, right? I normally just add in some bacon pieces and parmesan cheese to our brussels spouts. So when I got to try TBJ Gourmet’s Bacon Jam, I knew it would pair perfectly with brussels sprouts. This recipe is simple to make and it’s the perfect side dish to any meal!
Bacon Jam Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients
- 1 pound of brussels sprouts
- salt
- pepper
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil or bacon lard
- 2-3 tbsp Black Pepper Bacon Jam
- 1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese
Instructions
- Trim and half 1 lb of brussel sprouts.
- Season with salt and pepper generously.
- Roast in olive oil or bacon lard in the oven at 450° for 20 minutes in a cast-iron skillet or on a sheet pan, tossing about halfway through.
- Pull from the oven, add 2-3 tbsp of Black Pepper Bacon Jam.
- Toss to coat and put under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until Bacon Jam begins to caramelize.
- Serve topped with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese.
