Thanks to our son Andrew, we had tickets to see the Mighty Mighty Bosstones last night! Dave and I drove an hour to Boston and rode the subway to the House of Blues.
The House of Blues is in a great location. It’s on Lansdowne Street, across from FenwayPark. This is “The Green Monster!”
We had the usual…a Fuzzy Navel and a Black & Tan.
We both ordered a burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. It was delicious!
This was my favorite song of the night! Do you remember their song “Knock on Wood?” Check out the flashing Santas and the body surfers! I’m glad we had seats on the 3rd floor! We left during their encore so we could make it back to the subway without fighting the crowd. It was a late night, but lots of fun! I love Boston!
LOVE that song! It’s crazy to me that they needed that kind of security/people would be doing things to call for that kind of security. I guess I’ve gotten used to going to Laurie Berkner Band and They Might be Giants concerts for my 3yr old.
Love the bosstones & LOVE Boston!! So jealous!! Sounds like a fun night!
